is a membership based B2B online application, launched by BP Turkey, where corporate customers who own more than
5 vehicles can control their fuel purchases from retail locations countrywide.
After a business signs in for the service, an electronic device is installed in the vehicle. At the station, when the gas pump –which also has a receiver- is placed on the gas tank, a data transmit is automatically provided. The driver gets the fuel, and leaves without paying anything. The receiver at the pump records the transaction on the customer’s account. At the end of the month, an invoice is prepared and paid from the customer’s bank account electronically. The system reduces paperwork for accounting, and helps management track of the company’s expenditures.
The project has started five years ago, in the days that Internet was gaining popularity among Turkish small businesses and public. Medyanet has designed the web site. In addition to basic features such as program information, online registration and contact forms, the first version of the web site had a useful online reporting tool, where customers could log in with their own passwords and view or print out detailed periodical reports. The reports had information about the vehicles’ purchasing activities, where, when and how much fuel they got and their milage at every purchase.
Recently, in accordance with the new brand rules, the website has been redesigned by Medyanet. The system is now ready to provide real time reports. BP Tasitmatik project is a good example for Medyanet’s B2B solutions.
